My Sit Still Story: Jessica

Welcome to my Sit Still journey! As a proud owner of a Sit Still salon in the heart of New York City, I'm excited to share my story of how I went from being a corporate mama to a small business owner, all while juggling the life of the Big Apple.

What Led Me to Becoming a Sit Still Owner: Post-pandemic, I found myself craving a change and wanting to have a say in what new businesses opened in NYC. As a mom, I was drawn to Sit Still's mission of making life easier for families while providing fulfilling job opportunities for stylists. After taking my son to visit Sit Still three years ago, the idea of bringing this family-friendly haircare concept to NYC never left my mind. That dream became a reality as I proudly opened the doors to my very own Sit Still salon.

About Me: Outside of being a Sit Still owner, I'm a jack of all trades. By day, I navigate the corporate world, but by night, I'm passionately dedicated to running a successful small business. I'm an active member of my local community, always seeking ways to give back and make a positive impact. In my spare time, you can find me indulging in my love for barre3, going for a run, exploring new wellness trends, or enjoying a cozy cup of coffee (or perhaps a glass of wine!) with my family and friends. With two young kiddos to keep me on my toes, every day is an adventure.

Becoming a Sit Still owner has been a fulfilling and rewarding journey, allowing me to combine my passion for entrepreneurship with my dedication to creating a supportive and welcoming space for families in NYC. I'm excited to continue making a positive impact in my community and providing modern services for children and families alike.
